2014-2015 Elite Soccer for Boys and Girls U15-U19

Under the leadership of Dr J. C. Meeroff FIFA “A” and NSCAA Premier coach and coaching staff Andy Sevilla NSCAA Advanced NSCAA youth coach and Dr Dan Meeroff, USSF “B” and Advanced national NSCAA coach.
Special fitness condition will be done by ESP Excel Sports Performance under the direction of Prof. Ben Barrick.
Elite teams will participate in FYSA State Cup, Gold Coast SDL (boys), USSF under 23 National Cup and other prestigious tournaments as they come along during the seasonal year.
The objectives of the Elite teams

U12 Boys Advance to Regions Cup Final

After a tie at the end of the quarter final match, the PPS U12 boys won the penalty shootout. The semi-final game was clinched in the final minutes. The PPS team plays the final next weekend in Jensen Beach.

Our Director of Coaching, Dr. J.C. Meeroff, successfully completed the FIFA “A” level of education for soccer coaches. the highest international coaching license level. He has received the diplomas of Youth and Professional Soccer Coach issued by the Argentine Soccer Coaches Association (ATFA) after two long years of theoretical and practical studies and multiple written and field exams.Upon completion of the educational career, Dr. Meeroff was asked to join the educational staff of the Argentine Association and in such capacity he will be instrumental in bringing some of the courses offered by FIFA via ATFA to our area.Mr. Victorio Cocco, Director of the ATFA Coaching School, presenting the Diplomas to Dr. Meeroff at a ceremony held at the Holiday Inn/Kics International Soccer Training Center in Sunrise, Florida in January 2014.
Our Director of Coaching, Dr. Joe Meeroff has been cooperating with the Honduras Men’s National Team in their preparation towards the World Cup in Brazil. The team under the direction of Coach Luis Suarez and Fitness trainer Carlos Gutierrez practices both, in Lauderdale by the Sea and at the Holiday Inn/Kicks training center in Sunrise. The team practiced twice a day and also had all the medical controls as well as some sessions of hyperbaric oxygen to improve respiratory capacity. Furthermore, famous former World Cup winner and former Real Madrid coach and manager, Mr. Jorge Valdano flew from Spain to assist Suarez and Gutierrez in the preparation of the team for Brazil 2014.
On May 24, the President of the Republic of Honduras, Mr. Juan Orlando Hernandez, accompanied by the first lady Mrs. Ana Garcia and members of Honduras Congress, the Executive Cabinet and the General Secretary of the Honduras Soccer Federation (FENAFUTH), Mr. Alfredo Hawit came to Florida to present the country colors to the team. It was a very emotional event, that also serves as great motivation for the team. Dr. Meeroff attended the event as special guest. Honduras will play a friendly match vs England here in Florida at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium on June 7 at 4:45 PM.
